PUNO - SULLUSTANI

The next day around 2 pm I was picked up by bus and left for Sullustani, an ancient burial place for the chiefs of a tribe called Collo, who was later conquered by the Incas. So what you see here are pre Inca burial towers and post Inca burial towers
Pre Inca Burial Tower. Constructed out of rocks and clay.
And then came the Incas. Superior stone masonry and bigger is best.

One of the paths around the site

Pre Inca overlooking Lake Ticitaca

Making a living posing with either a baby alpuca or llama.
But a better find was Alexis in a bar in Puno, travelling by herself and all the way from New Zeeland. Played jengo, texas hold them and popping ballons fixed on a dartboard. All in the spirit of beer, pisco sours, sangria and other shooters.

Cheers Alexis!
