After days of deliberation and planning and not getting flights within South America as I want, only one thing left to do....go and organise it there.So, Friday, 11 June, I am off to Buenos Aires.Leaving Oliver Tambo at 9.50 am and arriving Buenos Aires 16.45 pm, their time. Total flight time 11 hours 25 minutes.
Baggage - one 45 liter backpack, carrying bare essentials.
Items are as follow - 2 x Cargo pants,1 x short pants,2 x wickered long sleeve shirts, 1 x light fleece,1 x down jacket,1 x dress shirt,4 pair socks,4 briefs, 1 handkerchief, 1 pair slops for the showers, 1 x quick drying towel, 1 x travel washing line, 1 x first aid kit, 1 x calculator, 1 x Lonely Planet guide to South America, 2 x Spanish phrase books,1 x head torch, 1x peak cap,1 pair gloves,1 pair sunglasses,1 beanie,1 lock for lockers, toiletrie bag with essentials, plugs,leads and adaptor,notebook and camera.All together packed into bacpack the weight comes to only 9 kg.
